I won't deny they are.

I just got AMD stuff originally, and was impressed by how robust they were.  I ran an Athlon XP, and learned how to OC on it.  Most chips should've exploded.

Just ordered patriot gamer 2 ram and antec liquid cooling. Like I said the older amd chips were top on my chart. But the name i5 and i7s are killing it right now. Anyone interested in an older amd 64 fx 55 CPU and heatsink I'm selling mine for 45. Also have 1gbx2 pc3200 and 512mbx2 pc3200 make offers.

Fair enough on the CPUs, but on GPUs, AMD is currently winning.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

You don't usually hear of GPUs getting fried from spikes.  Though it does happen.  But hey, at least you don't have an old motherboard that works perfectly, except for when it just randomly decides to turn off.  Thank goodness it's not my usual computer.

Also, oooooooo, wagon!

I was watching it on Nasioc and it seemed like you already had it sold when I was looking. But anyway no bank would finance me for private sales. So I found this at a dealer a day after it was traded in and bought it. I really like it so far, so much nicer then the 95  :-P

The guy that wants it is in OH, and the distance builds some difficulty into the transaction.  I have no place for two cars, and would need to sell my car literally the day I buy another to replace it.  Enough about that, enjoy your new car.

haha I always forget to ask people on here. Anywho, it all worked out in the end. I got this car for a great price, with a 3 year/30,000 mile service plan, that will cover everything but maintenance (even a rental car, hotel room (if I'm stranded),  and towing is included)

i will most likely get that in acouple weeks for my bday. if you buy an xbox you would be moving all your games over. sony actually admited that xbox was a better consol.

from a hardcore gamers thoughts:

ps3 is for amateurs. the controller is out of date by about 6 years. their online is crap, along with the people playing it. they have pour graphics. and their menu layout is retarded. they had to put a blueray player to get sales. which has nothing to do with games at all. if your looking to do long term gameplay you will need to buy an xbox 360, or build a computer. building a computer is the best, but most dont have the money or skills to do that. or if your looking to game with a lot of friends, then you should get a 360. there is a ton of us that play online together.

the first 2 singleplayers are worth buying an xbox for. hopefully they stepped up in the multiplayer section. the only thing i like about multi is the horde mode. but that sucks, if you get stuck with retards. i didnt care for any other multi play for this game. but they do have tdm on the new game.

whoa, whoa, whoa....easy now.  this could easily turn into a 10 page debate so lets stop right here.  for ME, i love the playstation controller.  it's small and hasn't changed with every console release.  i'm also FAR from a hardcore gamer.  i might play 45 mins to an hour a night on a busy gaming week.  sometimes i go a month without turning it on.  i wish i had more time but that'll just never happen.  i've played xbox a ton of times.  my brother and a bunch of my friends HAD them till they all bought ps3's.  it's okay, just not for me.  as far as the graphics though, you can't be serious.  xbox isn't in the same league.

and yes, i know i said to not turn this into a debate and continued to debate but i'll stop.  gears of war is a bad ass game and i want it.  that is all.

....are we all forgetting the ORIGINAL Xbox controller?  The thing as big as most people's HEADS?  You wanna talk about shitty ergonomics....

I will say, the Xbox overall experience is better, though the PS3 does have better hardware, and often more interesting, unusual games.

The PS3 control is a bit crap, though.  The modern 360 controller does fit much better.

You vaginas are using the wrong controllers for FPS.  Xbox and PS3 support keyboard and mouse.

Except for driving games, in which I prefer the Xbox controller by a hair for analogue brake and gas 'feel'.  Nothing beats a good wheel though.
