First and foremost, It's a bummer to see this go, but good luck in this economy. Secondly, please make sure that whomever you sell this to can handle 500 to the wheels. I would hate to see all the hard work go down the crapper tubes because some bro wrapped it around a tree.

Byron,

It might be worth putting up on CNYSubarus.com.   A lot of the fort drum boys are coming back from deployment soon, and they like to buy nice cars when they return..

I feel like we are basically sending this car to its grave. I really hope whoever buys it truly appreciates it.

Hahahaha. Well played sir. Well played. I would love to have that car. And I could afford to buy it. But...

1. My accident record doesn't suit a car like this. 5 years with a clean record and maybe I'm ready for something fast.

2. My insurance company would fall over laughing when they see me try to put this on my policy.

3. I don't have the gearhead background and knowledge to properly care for a car modified like this.

I dunno about #2.  Our DD policy has...  6-ish cars on it, I feel like that's more liability than one fast car.  And if it wasn't the only car you had on it, and claimed you wouldn't drive it much per year, or put it on a collector car insurance like Hagerty...  I doubt they'd have a problem.

I can't comment on #3, and I DEFINITELY can't comment on #1.

OP, GLWS, just as nice as the EVO up here some weeks ago...  Damn, seeing all these shiny turbos around here really makes me want one. :-D

Agreed. I just put my truck as my primary dd and said the STi was for occasional use and my insurance went down 16 bucks a month!
