Hi from poestenkill
« on: November 29, 2011, 07:56:23 PM »
Hi to everyone On here. I just got a 2011 STI sedan from carbone in Troy about 3 weeks ago and get gitty every time I get in it.

I'm hoping to meet some of you guys at some of the meets so I can pick your noses about what mods to do lol

Yes I already have been stung by the mod bug and can't wait to get going on this thing.

I had a 2005 dodge cummins with 640 hp/ 943 trq and loved it but it had to go and now have a car that I've been wanting for a long time.

I would swing threw the lot at kohls on central ave every once in a wile over the summer to show the kids the cars there.... So maybe I will see ya there with the new wip.

I also used to ride bikes and do stunt shows but I can't fit 4 kids and the wife on one of them ..... Bla bla bla.

Hope to. See y'all soon ....   Oh my car is white with the roof painted black with led strips on the lower front lip.

Thanks

Randy aka Randizzle

Yea my sister lives on weatherwax .......  and yes that was my truck. I miss it but can't wait to get my car tuned.

Is there any shops around here that dose pro tuning ?  I'm prob gonna get a Cobb tuner soon but I gotta check with the dealer to see what I can do so I don't void my warr.  The one sales rep told me that as long as I don't do anything to the motor like a bigger turbo and such. He said a tuner and exhaust is fine so I guess that's what I'm after till I get the itch again and just go big. Lol.

Thanks for the Comments

:-D did you get that in writing?  If the dealer knows you reprogrammed the ecu, bye bye warantee. same goes for a catless exhaust

put the pictures on photobucket.com or upload them on "paint" and resize there. Thats all I do.
2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs wagon

1995 Subaru Brighton Rs (sold)
2002 Hyundai Accent (sold)
1999 Chevy Cavalier (sold to my brother)
1998 Subaru Legacy wagon (traded to Blackparis)
1997 Subaru Legacy (Parted out and crushed)
1999 Honda Civic (Wrecked)
Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

whats her last name? If you don't mind me asking. just curious (small world really)    And i distinctly remember being behind you at the light by the middle school and you roasting the tires till it turned red a season or two ago when i was with my buddy :D  Good thing a state boy wasnt sitting behind waste management  :2funny:

Theres a couple good tuners around but cobb would be the easiest id say. Sometimes it isn't the most cost effective if your just doing basic bolt ons, from what your saying.
