Oh, I totally left out trucks.  Don't know how I forgot.

"Street" Trucks.  They are dynamically inferior to even a 23 year old civic.
Trucks on off-road tires.  We have a lot of members with this, so I'm expecting flack.
Trucks with tires that stick out past the fenders.  Thanks for showering the cars behind you with road debris.
Trucks with rubber band tires and huge wheels, factory or otherwise.
I pretty much hate trucks in general, actually.  Damn.     Except for the Raptor.  I know what you're thinking:  I had a truck.  The Baja is not a truck, it's a retarded outback.

Black, gunmetal, and silver wheels with polished lips.  Just don't like them.  White, gold, red, etc look good though.  I'm weird.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

I think the Raptor meets one of those...the off-road tires. It handles like poop on the road, tho in a straight line its comfy.

-Carbon Fiber (paint it)

Oh my GOD do I agree with this one, with the possible exception of little accent pieces (exhaust surround guard thingy comes to mind).  The point of carbon fiber is to be strong and light, it's not so you can brag to your Bros about how you "have a carbon fibber car like that LamBROgini that swerved into a dyke to avoid a pelcian!"  Most big-budget racing cars are all Carbon Fiber, they don't run around naked.

The body of the Ferrari F40 was made entirely from carbon fiber, if you see one up close the paint is so thin you can see the weave underneath. Therefore you shouldn't paint carbon fiber, it adds weight.  :-D

And I don't think trucks with off road tires are dumb, I think its dumb to have highway tires on a 4wd truck unless you literally never drive it in the dirt or snow. Otherwise have fun getting stuck in a grassy field or 4 inches of snow with your highway slicks.

While we are on trucks though, I really do hate trucks that are lifted like 4 feet. It looks ridiculous (especially because most of the people are too cheap to buy anything bigger than the stock size tires too, so it looks like it has shopping cart wheels) and as I can personally attest, it wont help you offroad, anything more than a couple inches makes it too tippy and destroys your suspension geometry.

True, but it's a Ferrari.  There's a certain level of douchey-ness already assumed, so having exposed CF is acceptable.  Plus, that's not exactly a DD.  (Though I will admit, it's pretty fucking awesome.)

The thing about most lifts that I see is that the axle is solid, so you have to double the height of the wheel/tire to get your desired lift.  Want 6" more ground clearance?  You need a foot more tire.  So the people that want 5 feet of lift end up with a truck that requires a ladder to get into.  That just doesn't make sense.  Run it like the Humvees do, with independent suspension and TCs in the wheels, so the axle enters the top of the hub.

Independent suspension is crap off road unless you are building a trophy truck/desert racer. Independant suspension is very difficult to design for long travel because of the extremely short control arm lengths. Stock location control arms with heim joints on my Cherokee let me run 10" travel shocks and use every inch of the travel, there isnt any factory IFS setup I know of that will do close to that without stuff binding up. Also you can drag an axle tube over a couple inches of rock without hurting it, most axle tubes are about 1/4in thick. Do that with either your front subframe or stamped plate control arms on a IFS truck and you wont be driving it home.

Really?  I had no clue solid axles were that durable.  I can see why they'd be better for crawling, yeah.  I was kinda thinking Baja style, but that's because my favorite forms of off-roading involve >10MPH.

I drive on the road.  I have tires for the road.  I don't care if you get stuck off the road.  I care if you take, at best, a poor handling vehicle, and then put tires on it that make it worse on everything except trails, then insist on sharing the road with me.  I would actually support a mandatory $10/tire tax on all 'off road' tires sold in NYS, including things like slicks too.  The one saving grace is, at least on here, the guys who DO have off-road vehicles don't drive like dickbags.  Playing devil's advocate here, I've seen the failure of street tires on a 'trail' that was just a slightly steep muddy road.

Look at the Raptor.  It's arguably the hardest-core truck you can buy from the factory.  Dozens of engineers spent thousands of man hours designing something...that goes fast in a straight line and handles like a piece of shit, and is $54,000.  I don't think the average dentist who can throw a few bucks at a used jeep and some name-brand bolt-ons and fancy tires is going to make me feel better about sharing the road.

By 'street' trucks, I meant stuff like lowered S-10's, Ford Lightnings, Trailblazer SS', and Ram SRT10's.  Hate 'em.

I guess really just one, but it could be argued that the tires are small enough in the fenders (and close enough to the edge) that your "hang outside the fender" argument could be used due to the same outcome (mud and rocks being flung at people behind you)

^The raptor can handle turns, just like any other pick em up truck. I base how it handles to a car, not another truck. Off the road tho, blasting down a dirt road, it shines in the handling area.. :-X

It doesn't cost 54k, about 4k under for a well equipped(everything but nav and graphics)

The feds don't generally allow 'mainstream' car makers to sell cars with tires that protrude from the body.

Ford's site says $42,500.  I stand corrected, about 48k for the cab big enough for 5 adults, no options but rearview camera.  No clue WTF I was looking at before.  If I had a 'small IT business' I wonder what the tax write-off for my commercial vehicle would be....Geez, 4.10's on a 5 Liter V8, no wonder it gets 11 city, 16 highway mileage.

Boy, you're dangerously close to a line here.  You seem to forget you're driving a lowered, loud, fart-can-equipped rice rocket, driven by a demographic that also loves loud stereos and stoplight racing.  There should most certainly be taxes for that, nevermind the Jeep guy putting along at 10mph below the speed limit he can't reach, sipping his morning coffee while you dart in and out of lanes, cutting off people on the I-90 ramp and complaining about stones hitting your windshield.

How about people that primer their cars with rattle cans with no intention of actually painting them.

Theres a Suby thats always at the Mobil in front of the Shop Rite on Balltown Rd that is primered (except the spoiler, thats still blue) and i think the taillights are blacked out. definitely does NOT look good at all.

Hate blow off valves on otherwise stock turbo car
Hate Ken Block and all his devices
Hate cars with primer paint jobs
Hate Honda drivers minus a few because you 1.6L 90 civic is still slow regardless of the skunk2 and Megan stickers on it)
Hate Cavaliers with any mods done to them
Hate StreetGlow/underglow unless you have a drift car.
Hate 90% of body kits (10% that actually help ex. over fenders, wide body, splitters)

Hate sticker roll call.
Interior glow kits

Onto trucks
Trucks without mudflaps.... thanks for throwing rocks at me
Trucks with body lifts ......your drive shaft is at a 45 degree angle
Trucks that are slammed on 24" chrome rims
Trucks that are set up for off road and never see mud
Truck owners that buy a gigantic fucking truck.....and when they get out they are 5'4" they gotta make up for that lack of altitude with something
Trucks with short beds.....you might as well be a Subaru Baja lol, because you have the same amount of bed space
TRD like Toyota you don't race anything especially trucks.
Retarded aggressive tires that see highway commutes all year long (blah blah blah when the snow comes ill be towing you out) yeah okay
