EVO owner beats retired vet for vandalizing (<--spelling?) his car.

Doesn't seem like anyone has posted it here yet so..

 http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-show-shine/587909-retired-navy-guy-spray-painted-my-evo-caught-during-act-pics-vids.html

Video in the evo thread is probably NSFW.

But yeah.. opinions?

Personally i think the owner was pretty justified in beating thisguy up,or at least stopping him from getting away. Maybe not so much to make a video of it, but it does provide evidence of the guy committing the crime, so i guess there' that.

Thoughts?

While I'm not so sure the kid should've beat the shit out of him, I do think it was well deserved. HOWEVER, I would've made an example out of him in court, news, ect.

The kid is likely to get arrested for assault.  :police:

Vengeance is a tasty morsel, but he violated the cardinal rule:  Never get caught doing something you shouldn't be doing.  Never post pictures, ON THE INTERNET of what you're doing.

See:  "Kegs and Eggs"

He also could've knocked the guy out and restrained him for the police.  He didn't have to maul him over spraypaint vandalism.  Police and insurance would've taken care of it.

I like vets on the whole.  Those who serve stop a little thing like the draft from restarting.

I wonder why this guy decided to mess with the car.  I'd edit the video to cut off the whole 'assault' part....why would you post yourself committing a crime that was worse(legally) than the one you were trying to stop?  I would only issue a mild beating to someone messing with even wagonzilla.  I would make sure to subdue and ziptie them, then drag them the 100 feet to the police station.

The pic showed the spraypainted car saying "12-7 USN" and it was a jap car, so thats where i think it came from.

Gotcha.  Vet might've been drunk or just crazy.  Still - no reason to deface someone's vehicle like that, but on the other hand...

WHAT IS WITH IDIOTS TODAY PULLING STUPID SHIT AND POSTING IT ON THE INTERNET.
Look, I beat the crap out of some guy.  Here's my face, his face, my license plate and videotape of the assault.

Now let me stand here dumbfounded as the Law comes down hard on me for being a stupid asshole.

Thanks.  I blame the Broski/Brotato/Tapout/MMA/Subaru/KenBlock/Skrillex/Hoodie-Wearing crowd.
They're multiplying so quickly, genocide may be the only answer.

MMA

I believe you could put Tapout and MMA together, like TapoutMMA guys. Then again, I don't wear hoodies that have business logos on them, so my liking MMA really isn't relevant here.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

I'm guessing you also don't obsess about putting someone in a choke hold and grappling them on the floor into submission, from the comfort of your couch, potato chips and 30-pack of Miller Lite, which you're sharing with a group of friends that have the same pipe dream obsession of being a professional fighter, a Call of Duty veteran and having front row tix to the Skrillex concert.

Just gonna venture a guess that's PROBABLY not you.  It may however, be the Evo asshole that beat the veteran into pulp for the sake of Youtube props.

Valid point.

I grapple on the mats in my garage at the end of a workout session or on my off days. No dreams of being even an amateur, though. Just good cross training during the winter.

I don't think the recipient of that beating being a vet has anything to do with this video. Someone vandalized someone else's car and paid the "street" price for it. The recipient being a vet and having that be in the title is just to make the video stand out from the 9,000,000 other "so and so did this so so and so did this to them OMG BEST KNOCKOUTEVAR" on the internet.

It's only valid because of the USN - Pearl Harbor connection. It makes the event effectively a case of domestic racism, or maybe better put nationalism gone wrong. Unless that guy went home and smashed literally all of his electronics he's kind of a hypocrite.

But I'm JDM, so what do I know?

Bring the Vet to me.  I've got cars made by former Axis aircraft builders.

He's not a former WWII vet, he should probably not be as irritated?

Maybe he has no military service, and is actually a rogue Veterinarian?
