Fresh paint!
« on: January 12, 2012, 07:51:08 PM »
Just got my car back from the body shop. Had to get a new paint job due to an unfortuante run in with a gravel truck dumping part of its load on the highway. During the work it was discovered that the passenger rear door had been caved in and fixed badly, and the front drivers side corner was in a minor accident. All is fixed now and its better than ever!

Its actually for sale. I just posted it on craigslist last night.  http://glensfalls.craigslist.org/cto/2797282080.html

Its 100% mechNical, body, and interior is 99% because I"m missing the fabric panels on the doors. I will find a set though.

Its the same trunk i just bought a wing and had the body shop install and paint it while the car was getting done. I also sold the old interior and bought a 2005 sti interior door panels, front an rear seats, and maybe the  carpet if i feel like ripping the interior out again. Also all the rust and dents were fixed. The rear quater panel rust was actually very extensive. Had to weld alot of clean sheet metal in but its perfect now. In the spring im going to put a front mount on with a rebuilt turbo from blaastperformance.com and up grade it while its out with a rebuild. Then get a tune. The tune ot has now is ok, but it could definhetly be better. It runs pretty rich so gas mileage sucks especially in the cold. It should be getting around 26>27 but im lucky to get 21 and im all highway to an from work.  But im very happy with it and coudnt askfor a better car. The headlights werr a must because i do alot of early morning and night driving. So i have 50w hid's for high an low beam which makes drivng pleasent.
