There was a sanctioned rallycross at the fairgrounds before? If we had a real location, there's enough people in the area to organize and run through the SCCA.

As I said.. They didn't clean up after themselves. Didn't make a profit. So the fair does not want them or anyone else with the same event back. I can talk to my boss about it, but they don't like hosting events that don't make a profit..

Clean up as in re-grade maybe? Depends on the season, but I imagine events would produce a lot of wear and tear. I like the fairgrounds though, it's very nice, I do not want to participate anywhere there are boulders.

SCCA regions pay pretty significant rental fees for autocross sites, as far as I'm concerned, considering they're just renting out parking lots for the day. I'm not in the know, though, or in a position to volunteer for this. Need to trailer the WRX to some events to get my feet wet this season.

If you want to do alot of events a rear diff skid is a good idea.

Rear?  I would think, at least from the one I did, the front is what need more protecting...
