Since it's release, the iPhone has been, and will continue to be a device that is merely playing catch-up with already proven devices. Nothing about each iteration released is new, no matter what cool name you give the feature. Like everything Apple sells, it's success is based purely on marketing, hype, and trends. Not innovative features and strong hardware.
Edit: Yes, I have an iPhone too. It stays in my top dresser drawer, condemned to a life of obsolescence.
