90s to Early 00s Impreza Coupe
« on: January 27, 2012, 11:16:14 PM »
Looking for a stock 2door Impreza, for a stage rally build. Has to be NA and 5spd. Would prefer a RS, but an L would also work.

The lower the mods, the better.

Any completed, or just logbooked, stage rally cars would be of interest too.

Hmm...  If I cut the two rear doors off, how much would you give me?  :2funny:

No Craigslist specials out there?

Haha...I'm about to the point where it might be easier to get a 4door and "shrink" it.

I've found a few on craigslist, within a few hours, but every single seller is a flake.

RS25.com for sale section has tons but people usually want more money than they are worth.
2000 SRP WRX swapped GC8, Built Motor, VF30, Coilovers, some more stuff too.

1996 Impreza Brighton. Donor for parts, as of now crushed in order to make filing cabinets in China

Yeah, I've been checking there. Seems like whatever I see is either swapped or overpriced (to me).

almost every 2000-ish rs for sale is retardedly overpriced

then again, subaru owners might be a bit nuts.....just saw an 08 wrx on craigslist that was posted on jan 7 for $17,000 with 59k miles.......then posted again 3 weeks later for $300 more and apparently 1,000 miles less on the odometer  :2funny: :idiot2:

I paid 6k for mine with only one rust spot....I may know of  a mid 90's Brighton coupe thats kinda stripped. Seems to me its only usable part is the shell.
2000 2.5RS Coupe, 5mt, Silverthorn-"Performance mods"-Borla header, to track, to STi axle back....and Hawk pads...everything else is aesthetic....
