Sunday Feb 20 get together
« on: February 02, 2005, 12:50:42 AM »
Hey guys, I'm coming up to chill with Josh and a few other people at skidmore...if anyone wants to get something together for Sunday late afternoon for a late lunch or dinner or something, I was hoping we could get a few cars out.

Mike, Byron, etc, this means you :D

I'm not from "there" so I'm not good with details, but feel free to IM me or Josh (trailboss).

IM is same as SN on here.

I'll see what I can do. I may be working on Red04's car on wed. and since I have been working 6 days a week this winter I may have to work that sunday.  If we do it during the day like noon I'm in for sure.

I'll be in Saranac Lake, not that I ever go anywhere with any of you guys.

I imagine Kyle (A4>RS), Freddy and I will be modding my Xbox this weekend, though, and I see styles and Freddy pretty frequently.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

I can't remember the name of the chip we're using - Kyle has done like 6 or 7 with this chip and it seems pretty cool. Should allow me to run the Xbox as an Xbox and a PC/Workstation without losing functionality on either, plus I'll be able to back my games up and forget about using the disks I always lose.

The chip is the Xecuter 3.  its the best out there, top of the line. supports 15 bioses, network flashing, external switch panel, external lan and Hdd activity lights.  the dash is the latest EvoX. BTW you can "back up" games to the stock HD you just run out of room cuz your only playing with about 8 gigs.   i would also like to say    fuck the Thompson DVD drive

my chip has stealth mode. SO I can't burn to the stock HDD. It uses the 9GB(?) to clone the factory drive. Then boots up on another partition when you use "hacked" mode.   this is good for playing XBOX Live games. Microsoft won't detect that you are hacked in Stealth mode, and therefore won't ban you.
