mailing list for meets

I've been wicked busy with end of semester projects and final exams and what not and have not been online much in weeks...

because of this I missed the last get together simply because I wasn't frequenting the form... I didn't realize we had it until I noticed a few away messages were saying "at a unysoc meet"

we all know we're all interested in these things... maybe we should start a mailing list... it will certainly increase attendance to the meets...

even if it's just an email saying: "we're planning a meet" with a link to the thread...


also stylin.... after my finals are done I'll start working on some good graphics for the site and stuff... sorry I havne't got a chance to do ANYTHING over the past few weeks (note to self: 2 majors means twice as much work)

mailing lists don't work, not everyone checks their email. and when they do, some don't do it daily.

forums, in my opinion, is the easiest way since even ppl that aren't members can see when the meet is.

have both? dunno, might be a UNYSOC info overload
