looking at switching catbacks

I have the Espelir which I love, I think it sounds perfect.  but the big huge melon shooter on the back attracts a lot of attention from cops and riceboys and I'd like a more stock look.  so I'm thinking about either the Borla STi (non-Hush), Stromung, or Cobb.  I looked at the Bosal, but I want a rolled tip.  anyway if anyone knows how loud those three I mentioned are in relation to the N1 style catbacks, that would be awesome.  If someone has one of those catbacks on their car and would be willing to let me hear it, that would be even more awesome

Cool, any chance I could check it out sometime

I wont be in the market until after I get springs & shiot done... but I am looking around.

I hate spending the money on a catback when I already have a perfectly good one that I like, but I do work in bethlehem, lolz.

Cobb, stromung, bosal, borla, and perin all make a stock-ish looking dualtip catback.  from the ones i have heard the borla is prolly the quietest and has a a really good tone under throtle.   NK car sounds really well.  I agree with Nicad i thought his car would be alil quieter just based on looks alone but it has a surprising roar!!!!!

what kind of catback does nk have?

i guess borla makes one that is louder than the hush model.. not sure how much louder though.

i'm leaning towards cobb or stromung right now.  I have to see which one mates up to the helix downpipe better, if niether one does then I have to find an adapter.

I have a borla hush- and the STI borla is louder -but I also don't know how much louder.  Borla also has an XR1 or something like that- and that one is suppossedly LOUD.

You can't go wrong if you are choosing between the cobb and stromunng.  Both are on the quite side- and sound really nice.  I have never heard a Cobb in person, (just sound clips)  but the stromung is very distinctive-without being loud.  Cobb sounded like many of the other exhausts out there IIRC.
Good luck choosing!
