Who is interested in doing a weekly Sunday lunch meet?
« on: March 22, 2005, 12:14:25 AM »
Well, we've done 2 Panera meets recently.  Anybody interested in holding a sort've "weekly" meet on sunday afternoons?  Seems like most people are free then.

We could switch it up each time, but set aside Sunday afternoons for unysoc lunches.  And following unysoc tradition, if you dont make it, you're voted out of the club      [/nick]

Whaddya think?

if I was free on sunday mornings and I could have lunch with unysoc and get to work on time, i'd be all over it.

but I'm not free :( my sisters, patty and selma come over every sunday for a family thing.  and pick apart my life and my car and everything.  which I love.  but regardless I still have to be at home on sundays :(

I think its a good idea  8)

I could make it roughly every other weekend.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

I'll try to make as many as possible... Would the location change weekly?

Sure, just to make it easier on people in the Albany area so they aren't getting owned and having to drive really far every time.

Clifton Park is pretty much in the middle between Albany and the Glens Falls Area. Around the 9's.

Even Latham is only 30 minutes from GF. I can probably get some good places in both of those areas.
