dents in my STi
« on: December 18, 2003, 02:55:49 PM »
  so heres what happened...I park my car outside on the side of my house.  well during the rain, the snow that was on the roof of the house jumped a good 6 feet and landed on top of my car.  now i have about a 12" diameter dent on the roof of my car as well as 2 small dings that i guess was from some ice.  the big dent isnt so huge that anyone walking by will quickly notice it but its something i wanna get fixed regardless.  anyone know any good places to get this fixed at?

Jason? (edit....sorry)
Didn't you just get yer STi back form the shop? Man, I tell you what. It's been nothing but trouble for the few months you've had it. Why don't we trade, that'll solve your worries!

bah, its Jason, not Josh.  anyways, i was able to push out the majority of the big dent from inside the car.  also noticed today that the driver side of my hood must be a little messed up too since it seems the fender on that side comes up about an 1/8 of an inch higher then the hood now.  cant see a dent by looking at it so thats probably an easy fix by just taking the hood off (if that) and putting a little pressure to bend it back up.  the dings on the hood will need help though.  evoWiPeR....PM sent!

if the paint isn't cracked i would recommend the Dent Medic in Glens Falls
his number is 743-9928.
he is on sarella st in G.F.

He does paintles dent repair by pushing out dents from the inside.  He worked on a few cars for me and I was very happy.
