Power Steering Pump
« on: November 12, 2014, 10:32:48 AM »
I have basically been driving around without one since this time last year. The reservoir seems to hold fluid but I think the pump leaks. Last year I purchased the o-rings needed to rebuild the pump, but never got around to it. Last month I bought a used pump during a part out. Since I have the o-rings still, I figured I would replace the ones in the pump I purchased, then replace the pump in my car. Does anyone have experience rebuilding the pumps?

I haven't done it, but found a post on legacygt.com that may be helpful - it has some pictures of the process.
