SubySolutions
« on: March 29, 2016, 05:04:30 PM »
Just a little Fyi for all my Unysoc peeps.  I am leaving my position at Capitaland Subaru at the end of this month. I have been the parts manager there since 2005 and have been with Subaru since 2002. I have been an active member on the Subaru parts and service dealer advisery council and 1 of 3 members of the Sti committee to get Sti to finally bring some of there parts to the US market.

So what to do with my new found time off?

Open my own shop

I will be opening SubySolutions out of my Families Repair shop in South Glens Falls.   I am still working with the DMV to get my registered repair shop license,  but i will keep you all informed as i move along with this.

I have worked on a large number of your vehicles in the past and it is a passion of mine.  this new venture will allow me more time to dedicate to my family and personal goals.

We've talked a lot about this, and you know how I feel.

Super excited to see this finally happening... almost 20 years after we first met and were talking about this stuff. I send as many people your way as I possibly can, including some folks from 400+ miles away soon ;)

Awesome! Congrats, and good luck with everything. Are you going to do anything with online/mail order parts? I live in Tennessee now, but would still love to give you some business!

That's awesome man, about damn time!

You limiting yourself to only Subys? Or just specializing in them?
I may want to know for personal reasons, primarily laziness  :2funny:

Glad you finally pulled the trigger. My father in law has a new Impreza and just needs oil changes for now. Take care of that car cause it'll probably end up being one of my kids cars.  :-)

Just a little update, Fred just crushed it. My engine has been out twice in the past 6-7 weeks, first for HG's then 10 miles later for a clutch, throw-out bearing pressure plate and FW. Car feels amazing again! It it wasnt for Fred I would have probably missed the first race 2 weeks ago and definitely missed the one this coming weekend!
