The Forester we don't have
« on: May 12, 2017, 08:56:43 AM »
I always loved the look of these foresters.  Vastly bummed that they don't sell them in a  5-speed here.  I wonder whats cheaper,  importing a Canadian version or getting one with a Fred-mod 5speed?

I always liked the 08 FXT Sports the most.  It would probably be just as easy to swap a new engine into the 08 than the trans and who knows what sensors/computers into the '09+.

The newer generation looks more classy and upscale, where as the previous ones look more utilitarian.  The new-new ones just look awkward shaped.

A gearbox swap isn't to bad since I learned a lot doing the 6 speed swap
