Panamera 4

Nice to see one other than in black/grey/silver.  I typically love manuals and relentlessly poke fun at VW products, but their PDK is pretty damn good.

PDK is by far the best I ve ever driven.  Takes a little fun out of the experience but is faster than any other trans. by a mile.    Porsche quality and feel are just awesome. 4X the amount of my WRX. Hard to justify, LOL.

Lol there's always a tradeoff somewhere.  Ultimately it's about happiness.  I'm not under the illusion that my WRX is 'better' than a 20-30k used 996, Corvette, or other dedicated sports car.  But for me, the visceral experience, zero driver aids, and 90's-Japanese-Tuner-Car power delivery is fun in a different way.  And as a wagon I can fit loads of whatever in the back.  :-o

Agree,  the reason I got the WRX because it had a similar visceral feel that my 911 did (997.2).  Go figure.    I think the  wrx for me was better than a 996 because of the warranty, AWD, and just a car for every day if needed. A lot simpler and cheaper to work on too.
