Stock CD player and Dash questions
« on: June 11, 2005, 01:56:19 PM »
I'm thinking of trying to patch an aux input into the line between the stock headunit and CD player.  What is the easiest way to get the dash apart without hurting anything or making a huge deal?

I've got a 2000 2.5RS w/ the factory premium stereo (tweets, cd, sub, the works).

Any help's appreciated, but i was thinking something along the lines of a howto on installing your own headunit would be the best thing for me...

You'll have a tough time trying to add an aux input to the stock stereo.  I haven't seen it done anywhere as most people either use a tape adapter or upgrade to an aftermarket HU.
