Does anyone know if the 05 STi steering rack will fit in an 04 WRX?

05 STi is 2.6 lock to lock, WRX is 3.0 lock to lock. The actuall steering ratio I do not know, but the lock to lock difference is significant enough to look into it. I would expect that the rack are the same except for the ratio.

yea, a guy on nasioc said the 05 mounting locations are different than the 04. Oh well, the price will probably shoot up too high before closing anyway.

i'd like to get a custom 2 turns L2L one. I think thats about a 10:1 steering ratio. The company, rev-lab, that used to make them isn't around anymore I don't think

its like an adapter thingy, not an actual rack. ratio converter that sits on the linkage i believe

yeah, it replaces the steering column. It looks pretty cool though. I was talking to russ over there.
