cams and valve train

is it worth putting cams, cam gears and valve train upgrade in my wrx. and if it is worth it what kind of performance would i gain or loose.

i put cams in my RS, and i was verrrry happy with them.  but i dont know about in  a wrx.

A properly selected cam will give you more performance every time. A poorly selected cam (cam too big for the head flow, etc) will give you poor performance, every time.

Select wisely when you do and you will not regret it. Call the cam manufacturer and ask for recommendations. Thats the best thing to do.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

cams are a wise decision on a wrx as well, but it is usually not necessary unless you are building the motor, and have properly selected the ther components as well.
