I just want to say how much I love this radar detector  Cheesy

The red display matches my gauges perfectly.

It let's you disable any band you want, which is really nice because you'll get sick of X band going off every two seconds  angry

There is a little mute button right on the plug, which comes in very handy for times when you just feel like telling the thing to shut up!!!  cheesy

I just want to recomend this unit to everyone and I'd be happy to answer any questions about it.

The red display model is $300.00 & the blue display is $350.00
I picked mine up at Tweeters in XGates Commons.

X band is disabled on it too.
Its that pesky K band that never shuts up.

I need to get this.  My detector is on its death bed.  My gram bought it a couple years ago for a xmas gift from radio shack.   It does work great, believe it or not but it has recently lost all sound so now I dont even know that Im being gunned.  Been lucky though.

How long have you guys had this type?

Do they carry the V1 at any stores now or is it still just online?

The arrows are fun  Cheesy  hehe
I just wish that Valentine would update the style a little... Cool

I took a ride in a friends car with the V1 and it was cool watching the arrows go front the front, to the side as we were going by him, and then to the back.

It's also really nice if you got "the fuzz" coming up from behind you!  Cool
