im not really considering trying it but anyone heard this before?but if someone says yeah I might do it though

Don't ghetto rig your WRX.  Boost controllers are a dime a dozen.  buy one and find out the right way to hook one up.  And rememer lots of people will tell you lots of things you can do to your car...but when you blow it up/break your tranny/put it into a tree you are the one who has to deal with your F'ed up car and they will deny ever telling you to do it.

BTW...don't run over 16psi.  Do you have a boost gauge yet?

If you want power in a wrx the path is pretty simple...get rid the cat in the upipipe.  Get rid of the car in the down pipe.  get a reflash.
Oh yeah...b4 you go too crazy please tell me you are not still on re-92's.  If you are replacing them should high up on your mod list.  They suck. haha

good luck and remember NASIOC.COM has a ton of info on it.  Don't believe everything you hear on there but if you sift through enough you'll find what you need.

Just wait until you can do it the right way
Just cause maybe 1 or 2 guys got lucky and didn't ruin thier motors by using a half-ass setup, doesn't mean it's not going to ruin yours...
Byron pretty much summed it up.
There's some very safe ways of adding power to your WRX... this isn't one of them  :|

Who needs a wastegate anyway? Just do the Wastegate delete mod...

Also, empty your blinker fluid and take out your muffler bearings, you don't need them.

all in good fun.
Eric

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

cool, just keep it under 16 psi until you get some engine management.  sounds like you have a good start though, glad to hear it.
