whichever version suits your mood best

the accented one is nice makes it sound foreign or exotic

I prefer the two syllable  DA-ROO-J  I know it looks like 3 syllable

Just blend the roo and j together.  I dont have the accent marks to throw in there to make it dictionary like

I tried to find them but got impatient

Before I bring this waaaaaaaaay OT I'd like to say thanks to Tom for posting these pics

I was looking at the pics and it took me a second to remember that you call your car paris hehhehe

I wish... I just need to save up enough to actually afford another project- and hopefully get rid of this one prior to starting a new one.  I'd love to do a DSP GC Impreza, it'd just be a matter of basically scraping all the crap I have and conglomerating a whole new pile of crap... :)  Oh yeah, and not 'giving' the car away, price-wise, but at the same time, take a guess how much the re-sale value is of a '91 crx... yeah.  Not that much.

Either way though- it was great to see a bunch of people at the autocross!  Yeah, I'd say we had the big group turnout for the day... Excellent job everyone- glad to see that Tom got tires on his car in time!  Sorry Jeff, I was planning on getting in at least another fun run - but yeah - I blame Bob!  (He was the first one to start picking up cones... :) )  It was good to see nk made it out as well!  And yes- Mr. DA-ROO-J - getting a better time in fun runs is disappointing, but it means you can go faster next time!  I met the owner of the black '98 RS, but I don't believe I got his name (or I just plain forgot- sorry about that, sir)...  hopefully you had a good time and will make it back for the next event!  Intrexin - I gotta give it to you- that fun run seemed really smooth- I guess we just have to get you to toss the car around a little more 'carelessly'...  and I mean that in the nicest way possible...  also glad to see Devin made it there! Mr. Styles, Bobert, Byron and Danielle all did excellent as usual...  starting to sound like a friggin roll call... okay - I'll just stop now then...

Oh yeah - it's nice to feel that you can drive your own car well, but it's nicer to know there's room for improvement (cause that means you can still go faster) - Tom (who's driven my car like once before) took my car out for a fun run and beat my best time by about 1.2 seconds... so yes- there's ALWAYS room for improvement... Now I just have to figure out how before Sept 10th...

FYI, my last set of Nokian snow tires performed nearly as well as the RE070's that came on the car. Even the hardcore RSi's weren't that far off, so they're a good tire, believe it or not ;)

Congrats to all that ran. Damn MoHud always plans stuff on weekends that I'm busy...

Eric

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

I deffinatly believ RE-92s handle better than those friggin snow tires.... w/ 45 PSI you can still see marks half way up the sidewall... Yeah I dunno what snows you had, but mine have a speed rating of 99mph (Q).... Cant really complain too much because atleast I got to go to the event and they were free!

O and I scrubbed 4/32nds off in one day... Normally only take off 1-2/32nds on a street tire...

Intrexin - I gotta give it to you- that fun run seemed really smooth- I guess we just have to get you to toss the car around a little more 'carelessly'...  and I mean that in the nicest way possible...

Do you mean use the fat rear of the wagon a little more, or hammer on it more?

I've used both Nokian WR's and Nokian RSi's. One is 112mph rated and the other is 100 or therabouts.

You must've had some REALLY old tires

The dry rot cracking would also explain the crappy sidewall strength
