Just interested since I got my gf a promise ring. Its a half k princess cut diamond set in white gold, her uncle is a jewler so Im getting a good deal on a great stone. Am I the only one that went the expensive route, all the guys at my school are getting their gf's flowers and chocolate....

I rented a house in Saranac Lake Friday night Sat night, and Sun night, and we went horseback riding, hung out, had a fire, I made her dinner all weekend, and we went to the winter carnival up there.
