Geez - if this crappy weather doesn't change, we'll be classing everyone on "snow tires" and "non-snow tires".  I hope everyone that's interested can make it.  If it is cold, make sure to bring something warm to wear.  At the last FMCC event last year (temps in the lo 50s / hi 40s), we had some kid who appeared to be in the first stages of hypothermia. The dazed expression and slurred speech got him a temporary break sitting in a heated car.  :buck2:

It would be great to have someone taking some pics.  Be aware, though, depending on where you stand, you'll need a spotter big enough to pull you out of harm's way. (the 'S' in 'SCCA' stands for 'Safe' -  )

i cant wait untill the first event

this winter was very bland to start and then tons of snow in march(dam groundhog)

the influx of cold weather lately seems  very out of place

i was going to put the summer wheels on but im glad i didnt cause it snowed last week

there can only be good weather to come

Except this week they are saying a nor-easter is coming through. Rain or heavy wet snow. Lets hope for just rain. (Thats the only way my car gets washed lately :( )
Eric

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

For anyone interested, MoHud's putting on a car control school on the 28th, then an autocross event on the 29th.  The school entry is capped at 30, so, if interested, sign up now!

It's great to attend a school the day before, and put to use what you learned the next day at an event!

+1 for the value of the autox school.

A Nor'easter on Wednesday???  :tickedoff:  I gotta drive to CT for a dyno session Thursday and I already switched on the summer tires.

They've downgraded it now, to just heavy rain mixed with wet snow. I think you'll be alright :)
