Yeah, that's the one.  The wheels would have reminded me, too.

Much better condition than mine, no rust at all, I see.  Mine is practically made of the stuff.  :tickedoff:

And yeah, I wouldn't have seen it today, I passed you on the passenger's side.  What're you taking at HVCC?

Actually...  You'll probably see styles, in his Jetta around, too, we have all the same classes.

debatable.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

My name's Ethan, I'm a 20-year old Mechanical Engineering student at HVCC, I used to work at HobbyTown USA on Central Ave, and this:

Summer

Winter

Is my '00 RS, with 240XXX miles.  Still runs strong, but she does like the taste of oil these days!

This:

Is me and my dad on his current project, a '32 Buick (chassis).  Will eventually be a speedster for the Great Race.  He's an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, studied at Union College, founded (and runs) CFIC in Troy.  He started me as an engineer before I even knew it, and while I originally had a fear of cars, as soon as I started driving our old RWD, LT1-powered Buick Roadmaster, I realized I liked cars again.  I had no specific targets in mind when I bought my car, just three rules:

1. FUN!
2. Manual.  No Slushboxes for me.
3. Good in winter.  I think I ended up with one of the best winter bombers I could have!

These days I love my Subaru and do my best to keep her running as best I can.  I have three other project/toy cars, one is my '66 VW Type 3 Squareback, gifted from my Grandfather (and the car I learned to drive standard on).  The second is a '83 944, destined (eventually) for AX/Comp.  One of my friends and I are trying to get into the Targa Newfoundland for next year.  The final is more a project, simply because the idea was I'd flip it to make a bit of change- an '84 Fiero with an LT1 swap.

Anyway, I live out in Melrose, right on the river, and I'm regularly hopping between everywhere from CP to Albany, so you'll probably see my car around.  It sounds like it has holes drilled in the muffler...  Because it does!  :uglystupid2:  :2funny:
What high school did you go too? My girlfriend is from Schaghticoke.

High school?  Doane Stuart, in Albany.  Or, okay, it USED to be in Albany, until the Sacred Heart decided they didn't like us and kicked us off.  Now they're across the river in Rennselaer.

In Elem./Middle, I was at Mechanicville.  Hated it.  I was the punching bag, and the discipline guy, who was actually effective, left in my 2nd year of middle school.  Then it fell to the principal, Mr. Duffy (who had the nickname of  "Mr. Fluffy" for self-explanatory reasons) had to do it.

I'm still friends with most of my class from DS, but I don't know anyone in Mc'Ville anymore.

Styles is in the one not driven by a girl.

Last semester I took the MECT equivalent of Machine Shop.  I loved it.  A friend and I basically did the entire project in a week, and helped the rest of the class.

And you're lucky to be in one building.  I have to be in Amstuz, Bulmer, Brahan, and Fitzgerald.  There's nowhere to park where I can get to my classes in a reasonable amount of time.

Better 'n Evo than a Honda!  (With the exception of the S2000.)

Which project? The capstone?

Meh.  I got a ticket last semester for not having a parking sticker.  I just paid.  It's not worth the hassle.  I can't get away with the one sticker for all terms trick, because campus police know to check my car, what with the silly stickers.  The campus police drive me just as nuts as real police do, but just because many of them are fat lazy slugs.  I saw one write a ticket, get back in his Escape Hybrid, drive 7 spots, and write that car a ticket.  Come on.

The project was the thing they have the MECT guys make, just cause to prove they have a basic understanding of a mill/bandsaw/etc.  It was an aluminum block with four holes, one was beveled, one just was, one was supposed to be tapped, and one had a slot that ran off the end.

Yeah, they showed us some of the MFT parts.  WAY more complicated than we were making, and we were also doing it all by eye.

By eye construction, if its close then we didn't do it.

Have I ever done one of these? I don't think so. Most of you know me already but anyway...

My name is Tyler Beaudoin.
I'm 22 years old.
I live in South Glens Falls.
I work for Glens Falls National Bank & Trust (For 2 more weeks...)
I'm currently back in college at ACC finishing my degree in Electrical Technology.
Career path is a job in Clinical Engineering, maintaining and repairing medical equipment at hospitals.
Hobbies are basically my car, music (Mainly Electronica), clothing, and a touch of PS3 (Call of Duty) on the side. (Edit - And women too.  :smitten: )
I'm on my 4th Subaru, I totaled the other three. But I have been officially been accident free for over a year now... Turning over a new leaf.

Here's a pic of me with my two good friends at a New Years Party last weekend. I'm on the right. Kyle is on the left and Marvin is in the middle.

And the car... 2007 2.5i... Due to my record and insurance I opted out of a WRX/STi. This came at the right price at the right time. And at least a huge upgrade from a Foz.

Since that picture is a year outdated. Here is thehe new grill I just installed...

And clothing?... Yes. For instance... A dope pair of kicks...

I just realized i've been on here for over a year and never posted in here. My name is Ian as can be found from my screen name. I'm 20, I live in Guilderland, I'm in my last semester of HVCC's auto tech program and plan to definitely NOT work as a mechanic afterwards. I bought my first Subaru, the swapped 00 last December and I think I have decided I really like Subaru.

There have been about 6 pictures taken of me since I was a baby so i'll share one of them.

There I am doing what i do best. Look at me go:

And as far as I know this is the only picture of me taken within the last 3 years where i'm in the whole thing:

2000 GC8, Built EJ205, VF30, Coilovers and some more stuff too

1989 Jeep Comanche, Daily Driving Vehicle.

1996 Impreza Brighton. Long gone.
