Ninja finally made it to my own garage.  Now she won't start.  Sigh.  Carb maintenance and apparently she needs a battery strap in addition to LOF, Chain stuff and others.

Who the hell breaks a rubber battery strap on an 07?

If it would start, I'd run it.  Stupid carbs.  I'll kiss the ground the day I swap her for a FI bike.

Not tonight.  I got her started and rode around the block a few times.  Hooray bike.  Is it bad that my first 5 minutes on this bike have already taught me that my next one needs to be taller?  This thing is like riding a tricycle with an engine in it.  My knees are almost in my chest.

figure i should post mine.  2006 Street Bob.  Took off the mini apes and swapped with what you see. V&H Short Shots, air ride suspension (drops down and feels like a hard-tail), tons of little things.  Putting a 2-tone leather spring seat on it VERY soon and as soon as i need some new rubber im getting the rims powdered red (not the spokes though..chrome or black) and some white walls. that plate has to be moved as well.

Do want. Also, red with chrome with the white walls.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.
