Get the $60 ones

What you'll need:
  • Long flat-head screwdriver to help remove the clips on the grill (4 on top, 2 on bottom underneath the left-/right-most upper clips)
  • 20A fuseholder + 20A fuse (I have 4 remaining 20A glass fuses, so if you need one, let me know)
  • 14G wire (the smallest roll they had was 8', and I had some left over)
  • 8 Female terminal clips (make sure they fit the relay provided) - 4 for the relay, 2 for each Hella
  • 3 O-rings to connect wires to battery/ground - 1 for battery, 1 for ground in engine bay, 1 for bolt outside the radiator
  • Vampire clips (this will help you with splicing so you don't have to use electrical tape like I did)
  • 2 ¼" bolts (1" length), 4 ¼" washers, and 2 ¼" nuts (get the ones with the locks on the back if you can find them)
  • Tools to strip/crimp wires, and to loosen/tighten bolts
  • Electrical tape (you'll at least want this to wrap up the wires on the relay)
  • Dielectric grease
  • Zip-ties (this will help you mount the relay and to neaten up the wires)

I can help you install them, if you need

I got mine through RallyArmor - they were a bit more $$, but with the shipping cost savings with my mudflaps, I made out even

and when they come in i'll give you a call matt.

NOTE: I don't have any electrical supplies, so you'll need a wire stripper

EDIT: I have to look and try to find the 20A fuses - I'm not sure where they are (they should be in my trunk, but it's got a million things in there)

if you get them and need a hand installing them give me a shout, i've done it and have it down to a science now because i had to do the wiring twice due to a bad grounding choice.

I'd be willing to help you out - let me know when you get them in.

Make sure you have the items on my list in post 2 (haven't done them on an '08, so the bolts/nuts may be different, but we can figure it out) 8-)

Oh ya, big thanks to Matt for the parts list. It was perfect. Only thing I added was some liquid tape by personal choice, I love the stuff.

Also, I see why you want to help out, (beside the fact that your just such a swell fella ) they were a fun install.
