where in grafton? i didnt see that i live in g-town... it would be cool to know the "white trash" you speak of
Grafton might have been too much of a generalization but it was definitely in the Grafton area.  The house and the gray stained fence is right on Rte. 2.  The fence can't be more than 10ft from the road.

my biggest problem is the young people who said they are all for obama and when id ask why, most of the time all i got was for "change".  nothing else.
I too saw this but like RedRoof2, I would rather have people voting on hope rather than fear/race issues/lies.  It was sad to see that the republican party and its followers had to resort to a campaign of disinformation rather than actually supporting their own platform positive media.

i am a young voter and i dont watch MTV or E news (i could give 2 sh*ts what/who the celebs are doing/f*cking/dating).

that being said, i hate how this country is willfully ignorant.  in a time where there is so much information to be read and learned, people have resorted to just listening to what Bill-O and other conservative nuts have to say, rather than thinking for themselves.

maybe if people were to actually look at some facts and realize that bush really did screw this country good.  for example, people were getting so caught up in the 911 hoopla that anytime bush messed up, he would just say remember 911.....  i sympathize with every single family who was affected by the attacks, but to try and spin the situation for and kind of gain is horsesh*t.  telling people that they attacked us because they hate freedom and what we stand for is ridiculous.  the real reason why they attacked us was because of our political ties with israel and the saudi oil families....you know why i think that...BC THATS WHAT THEY F*CKING SAID on that tape.  it was bunch of saudis, some egyptians, all backed by the one guy in afghanistan. not in anyway connected with Iraq...which is where we are now, and thats a whole other argument

Totally agree!  It's the same scare tactics they started using in this campaign, especially when they twisted Biden's words to imply that if McCain were elected, nobody would dare attack us.  It's like...   cut the crap.  We've been living in fear for 8 years now.  We have a terror alert color system that nobody understands, but all we know is every day we go out, we're either supposed to be mindful of an attack or fearful that one is imminent.  We've given up a TON of freedom to "Secure the Homeland", all becuase of terrorism.  Then I see the same stuff starting over again in this campaign and I'd had it.  National Security is NOT the most important issue when we can barely afford to keep families in their homes.  Maybe we shouldn't pump 10 billion a month into Iraq when even General Motors is worth LESS than that now, because of this economy.

just to point something out to all the people who are like blah blah i hate raciest stereotyping and what not and then in the next line saying fuck rednecks well guess what you just sounded real silly because you just did what you said you hated :uglystupid2: i have been called a red neck before why because i like to shoot my guns ride my quad get all muddy go off roading and drink a beer sitting next to a bonfire. but i am not one bit raciest ill agree that yeah there are a lot of raciest rednecks around but that doesn’t mean there are all shit i went to school with 95% inner city kids and a lot of them are raciest towards white people. this is not intended to put anyone down just what i saw. and this election wins the prize for people voting for stupid reasons i remember being at school asking my black friends who they were voting for and they said shiit i gotta vote fo the black man, couldn’t tell me one reason why. oh well there is always going to Canada.

costa rica is a much better choice than canada ;-)  - you have to take it for what it is - there are always going to be some of "those" people in any group of people its bound to happen. You have the people who didnt vote for Obama merely because he was black and then there were the people who voted for him JUST because he was ( that means that they didnt vote for the white guy because he was white). whats the difference?  regardless the next 4 years are going to be interesting. Is he really going to come through, what kinda or what extent of change is about to come? just live within your means and put something aside for the future and youll be ok regardless of how things turn out.

however, the term redneck is not actually intended for those typical people with beer, shotguns and a love for big trucks.  it was actually a term given to all the men who marched against the cole mining companies for horrible working conditions and crappy treatment back in the day.  they marched from something like pennsylvania to west virginia on foot and they all wore red bandannas around their necks to signify they were participating in the protest.   thus creating the term "red neck".  so all in all.  if you work for a living and your companies are paying money out of their pocket to keep you safe... you can thank the "red necks"   (not intended to attack anyone if you may feel so)

I love all those things too, with the exception of country music (seriously, all new/hedonistic country music sucks assholes and is an absolute disgrace to its roots), does that make me a redneck?  Y'all are sorry excuses for rednecks anyways, where I am from you would have your redneck card immediately revoked for driving Subarus and being nerds posting on an internet forum. :2funny:

For the record, this is were I lived and worked for the first 21+ years of my life, so I know a little bit about redneck stereotyping.

I've got an idea how about all of you stop with the bullshit because all said and done its a well known fact that if a politician's lips are moving he's fucking lying. So in the end what does it matter. Redneck or not at least you aren't a career bullshit artist. And lets not forget back in history, the politicians were farmers and somewhat respectable, now they live off of OUR hard work. This thread is off and out of control. :tickedoff: :uglystupid2: :-X
