WOOT STage II here I come.
« on: January 15, 2009, 04:57:47 PM »
It's been Seven long years..

I finally just purchased a Shorty DP to go Stage II.

All I need is Gaskets Now and I figure out how to upload stage II to my AP and Find my power adapter.LOL

I am Excited.

Got a Lead on a  30k used TD04 , FREE. Sending it to Blouch for the 19T upgrade!! Spools Near STOCK produces power like a 34/39 . I can get 310 out of the Td04. PFT HAHAHAHAH

Does this count as a upgraded turbo in auto class? Can i just say Stock Turbo.. :P

I don't think that it would count as a stock turbo since your modifying it for autocross but then again idk.

Nice! Gutting the 3rd cat or leaving it?

Do you have a pre-cat like the '02-'05 WRX that you need to get rid of?

I was going to retain one stock for Visual inspection. I am sure my girl will have a deeper throat now!  :smitten:  :2funny: If i went full catless I don't know about the smell. I am hoping that is is not that noticable with the DW DP and UP.

So 43k miles. New Gaskets or Copper seal? Wondering if is should do the PNP and Cross over from Grimm so Installation of the UP is easier.

That 19T upgrade is a fantasy atm. But it sure would be fun.

I wanna upgrade my Brakes before I put any more power on the car after S2.

I know Brem's will fit my Black Diamond BBS RGR'S I was thinking about 4pots too IDK.

After That i am putting on Phonelic Spacers, Doing the TB bypass mod, Upgraded TM and start reading Open source material.

Good Man, Marty,.  Capitaland Motors helped me get my 4-pot fronts very quickly and at a good price.  I went with these over brembos because pads were cheaper and they take the stock 02-07 wrx rotors.  For the rear 2-pots, either red or brembos, you need the Kartboy caliper adapters that a bunch of vendors sell for around 200 bucks. Rear brembos also need a special rotor to work with your stock ebrake, that is sold at fastwrx.com.  Wear items will be cheaper on the 4-pot/2pot combo, though don't forget the Legacy GT 05+ also has quite huge stoppers that probably cost less than the more 'blingy' wrx units.

Well, you can always high-temp paint them.  The 'black/grey' ones were JDM and almost all of them are used.
