... Why can't you? It's not a piggy back, it's a plug and play. You plug it into your CPU, d/l the map into it, and disconnect. Right?

when it reflashes your ecu it remembers your car and will not work on any other car
taken from accessport faq:

Q. Will my AccessPORT work on multiple vehicles?

A. Yes and No. When you first initialize the AccessPORT for use on your vehicle, it will marry itself to that ECU. From that point on, it will only work on that vehicle's ECU. If you wish to use it on another compatible vehicle, you much first uninstall the AccessPORT from the original vehicle. When you purchase the AccessPORT, you are purchasing one (1) AccessECU reflash license. Thus, that license can only be used on one vehicle at a time.

just out of curiousity, i am planning on getting a accessport *or another come a later time that i can afford.. wanna do other mods first like exhaust , up, maybe turbo, intercooler la la la but how much does that run? :oops:

the accessport is 595... the others depend on how crazy you want to get.

I have one ordered. . .they will be shipped out on 6/7/04 NOT 5/31/04 as first thought. Cant wait. Fiqure Stage 1 to be 25WHP / 40 ft lbs gain. . then double it for Stage 2 <AP w/ TBE>

ordered mine the 21st.... their having issues getting hardware fast enough so it looks like im gonne be waiting a lil while longer than expected
