LT1s are good engines for Z cars, they aren't too heavy compared to the 6, and they fit just as well.  Though I question the logic of that one, which appears to also have a centrifugal SC.

There's two spots on that one I don't like- the engine cover has those wonky side scoop things, and the front bumper is...  ugly.  Other than that, those 911s look amazing.

That's the sound of your 04-07 sti insurance premiums going up.

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/12/19/driver-launches-car-crashes-through-roof-of-business/
Quote
Police in Santa Fe, Texas are currently searching for a man who catapulted his Subaru WRX through the roof of a local business. Police say 20-year-old Roy Morales was traveling around 90 miles per hour at two in the morning when he blew through a dead-end street and crossed a set of raised train tracks.

The tracks sent the vehicle airborne over a distance of 100 feet before the car came crashing through the roof of a local septic business. Realizing he had both literally and figuratively found himself in a world of crap, Morales fled the scene and later called the police to report his vehicle stolen.

At that point, police were able to coax a confession from Morales, who now faces potential charges ranging from reckless driving to false reporting of a crime. Morales has yet to actually turn himself in.

Michael Robinson, the owner of Gulf Coast Aerobic Services, says Morales' stunt inflicted around $25,000 worth of damage, but that he's grateful no one was hurt in the incident. That includes the would-be stunt driver. Hit the jump to watch a local news report.

Somebody on Jalopnik was criticizing him because it looks like he was passing the Flex...  Can anybody tell if that's true?  I thought it was a two-lane, one-way road.

At the end of the vid you can see across the median to the other side of the two-lane highway, so not a two-way country road but still passing on snow/black ice with what looked like summer sneakers

I can't like that thing.  If it was really inspired by the Atom, why does it look like someone took a go-cart frame, puked some more tubes onto it and wedged in an LS?  One of the things I loved about the Atom was that despite not having a body proper, it still had looks, and good ones at that.  That thing is just...  ugly.

Actually, yes!
...but it can only hit 25MPH because it has a bad LiFePo4 cell.  Also, it's a Ford Probe that's been converted with an Auto and FWD, so....

That's one of Ken Brough's inventions for the "Race to the Sky" hillclimb in NZ.  Top Gear Australia featured it, the Stoog drove it up the climb.  The welds connecting the handlebars to the front wheels snapped immediately after he finished the run, too.  Personally, though, I prefer this KB:

Personally, I prefer the one where there's a Gorilla on a ladder.  And where he ends up in a shopping cart.

Eric

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.
