But that probably won't happen, so it's a 'maybe' for me. Finances are getting tight.

No. However, having a few walkie talkies wouldn't hurt for a few cars of the group (in case we get separated)

There are a lot of areas in Berne with no cell reception (same with some areas in Schoharie). At least this way, if something happens, we have a 2-mile range to get in touch with other people. We did have that one group stop to take a piss last year, remember?

Walkie talkies are a Great IDEA. I tell everyone to bring a set when I do the yearly Saabaru meet.

Anyways its good to chatter and banter and just have fun. Not to mention if cops are spotted or pedestrians whatever.

I will bring the two I have.
