sweet.  idk i know mark is commin up tuesday.  other than that idk...  im all for it though

the bolt broke both a socket and a racketing wrench. im gonna let the dealership at least break it lose and then head back to nicks or ill just have them do the whole thing depending on the price. that way i dont break anything or strip the bolt. we didnt think heating it up would be a good idea either in case there is a rubber ring or washer of sorts since it is a drain plug

valid point. that sucks man i can bring the ol impact gun if nick has a compressor? lemme kno if i can help. and yes ill be leaving coxsackie on tuesday around 3 330 for nicks house. taking his lovley moma out to dinner while hes getting out of work, neone wanna come and swap some fluid??? tranny fluid that is

lol gotta love hot moms. i have an impact gun and a compressor but after we check the dip stick last night the fluid itself doesnt need to be changed but it is low and seems to be leaking so im just gonna setup an appointment with capitaland to have it inspected and to fill it up to its proper level...i just hope nothing to series is wrong

did you notice any fluid around the axle seals on the front diff, they are sorta common or around the tailshaft area, there is a paper seal back there that can leak as well.

fred sent me this in a PM. hopefully that paper seal isnt too expensive/complicated

i saw the socket you 2 destroyed lol did you know that it was a spark plug socket? sucks you couldent get it mine poped right off with a little yank and a good ol breaker bar.

yea i know it was a spark plug socket but thats the only 21mm i could find in my horribly unorganized garage. lol! glad everything worked out for u. i just got called a little while ago that my car is ready at capitaland. they replaced the drain plug and washer as well as the seal on the driver side axle that was leaking and toped off my fluids. the fluids didnt even need to be changed just topped from the small leak from that paper seal between the tranny and axle. all good now

P.S. nick that means there is enough fluid left over for another taker for whoever is interested
