Well guys IM gonna ask you because im sure this is the place where people know what the hell they are talking about.
Im thinking by spring next year i will be ready to think about serious engine mods.
Right now all i need is lateral links, trailing rods, and front and rear rotors, ss brake lines to finish stabilization, (Have f r sway/strut endlinks,axxis pads)
Exhaust soon to follow.
Im moving to safety next, 4 point harness bar / Seatbelts. /70%decieded to place roll cage.
Then probely gonan install guages sooner than this point. but i want to monitor levels accuaretly when modding.
Im thinking i wanna run around 17psi. WITH INTERNALS>>.
For piston Rods im thinking PAuper 4340's.
*Replacement of turbo is still undecieded on brand/price* Intercooler i wanna get a fmic but thinking of top mount. for under hood presentation, even though fmic is sexy.. anyways...
Im thinking my end result is somewhere around 250 wheel horse power. with in time i will replace my tranny with an aps one. the question is this......
Should i Bore to 2.2 liters and port polish instead, or just get internals. i realize the other option is more expensive but money is really not a matter to me.. I know the basics, turbo, inter, fuel pump, access or utec, fuel rails. but what else do you think i would need. Thanks gentlemen. and im not getting headers..lol
