Raw Gas Smell?
« on: April 26, 2009, 04:51:11 PM »
Hey guys,

The other day while I was driving I started smelling a raw gas smell...which I thought was coming from my front passenger side seat (as I dropped a used fuel filter on the seat and it leaked all over), however, my friend was driving behind me yesterday and said he could smell it to. Also, yesterday when I put my foot down a bit to get up a serious hill, my friend said he saw blue smoke puff out of my exhaust just for a brief second...and then not again. I'm a tad bit worried. Any ideas as to what would be causing the gas smell, and is it possible it's tied to the burning oil smoke?

I posted this in the wrong topic. Can anyone move it to Forced Induction?

It seems I can't, not a mod for the tech sections.  Evil and Paris could.
