UTEC Prices?

Okay, so pretty basic question. How many people here run UTEC *makes intel inside sound* and where did you get it?  How much? Satisified?   Lets get a thread together to help people find good deals on this great mod.

please keep in mind that the reason we have sponsors is to buy from them. world one expressed that if they are going to sponsor us they expect us to buy from them. they don't want people looking around elsewhere. this is for new stuff of course.

it was needed. we should want sponsors that contribute to our club. one such company just wasn't doing that and it didn't seem like they ever would.

now let me get this straight...the only difference between a UNICHIP and a UTEC is that the UTEC can be prgrammed via comp yadda yadda and can hold multiple maps...
...If so, Unichip is right up my alley!!!

You don't want a used UTEC, you don't get a warrenty, and any computer nerd knows how nice warrentys are on electronics...

I got mine from thewrxstore.com, but don't ever buy ANYTHING from them. They fucked me out of $38.

So over all do you gain 35hp. I have read mixed reviews

The other thing is if you change your cold air intake, does your map sensor alow the extra air :?

You'd have to program for the new intake. CAI's are not recommended because the sensor is calibrated based on the diameter of the pipe it sits in. So if you go bigger, the Ecu doesn't see the extra air, and you lean out the mix, which results in higher temps, etc.

In other words, you'd have to add fuel to bring EGT's back down...
