Yo, yo, yo!
« on: June 09, 2009, 12:27:55 PM »
Howdy, Upstaters!

I'm Spencer ("spenk" on NASIOC/CNYSUBARUS/MIATANET/LGT.com) from the Syracuse area.  I met some of you at the cruise on Sunday.

My wife (Dorothy) and I have been Subaru-ing since 2000 when we bought a '00 2.5RS sedan.  That led to my WRX wagon and then I started buying parts and tools...

Nice to be here!

(crappy) PICS!:

^^^^ +1

Sometimes I get a little queasy thinking about it and adding $tuff up in my head, but you only live once. :coolsmiley:

The hardest part is that Dorothy never gives me any heat about modding, so I have to exercise a lot of self contol.

Next up for the WRX:

Rear fender roll, then FMIC, then PPG tranny, then DOM 3.0.

yeah, I can imagine it would get a little overwhelming when you look at it as a whole....

my gf never hassles me about it either, but that's probably only because I can't afford to do a tenth of that mod list  :-D

suprised with all the mods you did to the rex that there isn't a 'GT' instead of an 'i'

The "i" is the reason why I do silly stuff to the wagon.  One comfy long trip car, one violent anti-social car, and one car that makes us feel better about not being able to afford living on Maui (yet).

The Leggy is Dorothy's DD, and she's satified with the the power as-is and the handling upgrades.  It does handle and will cruise happily at 80-90pmh all day long.
