TIC Shifter Bushing Installation Help

Hi everybody, I'm looking for some help installing TIC shifter bushings and Whiteline steering rack bushings on my 09 wrx. Has anyone installed these parts on an 08+ who would like to lend a hand? The shifter bushings didn't come with directions but the Whiteline steering rack bushings did. Looking to do the installation within the next couple of weeks. Thanks.

i never installed my cobb shifter bushings but on cobb's website they have instructions.  shifter bushings are shifter bushings and you should be able to use those instructions

I've done all the shifter bushings twice on '04/'05 body style. I'm sure it's similar, and would be willing to help, depending on when you're looking. I will be trying to get as much of my own stuff installed as possible in the next few weeks, but after that, I should be good.

Thanks guys! I used to be much more gung-ho about modifying my car but this one is special, my first new car purchase, so I'm apprehensive. Let me know after you get stuff done with your car and have some free time.

Is it the polyurethane front shifter bushings for the stay arm or did you get the inserts that go in the "trunion joint" (u-shaped) on the actual shift linkage ?
The latter are a bitch and more involved because you have to remove the linkage from the tranny to do that. The front shifter bushings replace the factory rubber single piece, they snap in place and that is only a 20 minute job. If you don't have a garage you can bring it over to my house, I have a floor jack, jack stands and ramps. pm me and we can set a day with Matthew (Idip).
