COBB Fuel economy flash
« on: November 07, 2009, 11:12:19 AM »
Does anyone know if my turbo back exaust will have any effect on reflashing my ECU with the COBB fuel economy flash?

With the Fuel efficiency map all it does is prevent you from going past 4k. Keeps the car in Closed loop .. Is that right?

Thus preventing your WOT pulls and your Fun.. hence the reason for the fuel efficiency map.

The Turbo back is just allowing the exhaust gases to flow and actually helps with gas mileage

So keep the present map and stay below 4k. LOL

My current flash is a custom mapping from EFI Logics for the exaust. Would keeping it under 4k still apply to it?

well you are kinda right… the valet mode doesnt let you go past 4k, the economy map runs only off the wastegate and turns off your electronic boost solenoid. thus letting you only run around 7psi max boost. it also decreases throttle response like crazy because it pulls timing.
