Battery Terminal Mystery Stuff

i found this blue powdery stuff on the positive terminal
(please excuse shitty cellphone pics and darkness)

they sell washer type things to go between the battery and terminal that will stop that from happening. they're only like a dollar and some places give them free with the purchase of a new battery. looks like typical corrosion to me but i could be wrong.

Typical corrosion. Clean it with a wire brush and smear dielectric grease all over the terminals before you put the cables back on.

Quote me now while I'm feeling good about it.  I've decided a WRX will be the vehicle that replaces the Jeep.  I can't see paying Evo prices or justifying purchasing a halfassed/beat to death example for the same asinine amount of money.  For an affordable, point to point, all-weather capable performance car, a wagon fits the bill.  A swapped wagon, even better.

g thanks dude lol it was dark out so thats why the pics blow. i was using a flashlight to shine on the stuff.
