New Member Albany Area Black 07 STI
« on: January 01, 2010, 10:12:16 PM »
well as the tittle says I'm a new member. I have been here for work since june and should be in the area till about summer maybe longer. I heard about this forum from a guy at napa that sold me my new jack (buy the way the jack kicks a** thanks). Now to the car as the tittle says its a black 07 sti and Last month at EFI it put down 410whp and 390wtq on their mustang. I am looking forward to going to some meets with everyone and have some fun.

Modes (not all just the main ones):
ATP GT3582R (stock location)
Perrin FMIC
Aquamist HFS5 (90/10 mix)
850 cc injectors
TGV deletes
Equal length headers
Element down pipe
Invidia 3" race N1
Cobb AP
KS tech CAI
APS turbo inlet
Gauges and other stuff

I spend most my time on IWSTI and have some parts (stock and performance) left over from my last build if anyone is interested here is the link. http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-drivetrain-performance-ecu-reflash-units/179312-fs-ny-07-part-out-invidia-downpipe-amr-cai-lots-stock-parts.html.

Just started adding pictures to my mobile me account so the pictures are from this summer and some from Florida (before all the upgrades). I will update more later today of the car, some drives, videos, and performance parts (installed). The silver STI in all the pictures with mine is my buddies. Most pictures are taken from my passenger seat so not that many of mine.
Also I don’t want no hating on my sweet $800 4runner in one of the pictures:-D

Welcome to the boards.

Man I have been looking for a stock Sti turbo back for a while now. Unfortunatley I just moved and can not justfy putting too much loot into my car. Even though what I jus paid for my tire I could have gotten an exhaust. Damn I really want one though. Maybe I will suck up a shit load of OT in the next few weeks and see if you still have them for sale.

Where are you located anyway

You and or the Grey Sti in the pictures wouldn't happen to live in the "Mansions" (a gross misrepresentation)?  If so I'm the black bugeye wagon (currently w/a flat and smashed nose) on Valley View.

Yeah the grey sti lives just down the street and when the weather is nice i am in and out with the black one. The two guys on the bikes also live there as well. What happened to the ride? I have to admit I'm a huge fan of your car (i like your choice of color as well). I love the bugeye's and I was thinking i would get one for my DD one day.

I thought the cars looked familiar.  As far as my car, I got nailed by one of the oldies from the (retirement) condos off of Valley View.  People drive like retards back there and the old people are actually dangerous...

Feel free to stop if you see me out working on the car, I'll be doing some work on the car come March.

Sorry to hear about the ride. I have seen you wrenching on it a few time and have been wondering what mods you have? Also, this spring and summer if the Subaru is back in action you will have to come on some drives with us.

Yeah, I'll be down for some cruises once the car is running 100% again.

I've done a few things to the car...just needs to be finished up.
Mods:
Engine:
EJ207 Swap but still running TD04
Turbo Back Cobb DP/Stromung CB
Hyperflow/TXS TMIC
Tuned by me.

Brakes/Suspension:
4/2 pot brakes
AGX Struts
Prodrive/Whiteline Springs (broke a front spring)
Whiteline RSB
Whiteline ALK

Misc:
Boost/EGT Gauges
LC-1 WBO2
Morettes (to be replaced with Prodrive Morettes)
ACT Streetlight Flywheel

To be installed in March to complete my OG set up:
VF23 (Injectors and Pump) Might do a VF34/P20 hybrid if I stumble into a cheap VF34 between now and March.
Inlet/replace all hoses coolant and vacuum.
PWR radiator
F/R Whiteline endlinks
Prodrive BCS

Heh, I live in lake george, I've seen you around quite a few times. I've gotten a wave or 3 from you as well. I have the 06 wrb STI with a Euro front plate, tinted windows and iwsti stickers and such. I'm actually meeting up with a couple other kids later with sti's to do some cruising we should meet up sometime.

^^^I'm down once the snow melts and the salt gets washed away. The Subaru is in the garage till the weather gets better. I should have some new goodies to test out this spring so we should definitely do some drives and meets then. If you are ever in the East Greenbush area feel free to stop by and check out the car. Just send me a PM when you will be in the area.

^^^I would love to have a Subaru for the winter that i could take out and rip but summer tires, really bad winter drivers, and a ton of salt keeps it in the garage. C6 ZO6 was my second choice and may end up in my garage one day but that will not be for a few years. What mod's do you currently have and what is coming next?

I'm about to order some injectors a fmic el headers and EWG and get tuned on e85. Along with a set of advans, sway bars and strut braces. Then it's onto another bike.
