So it would appear that the winter has found the one weakness my impreza had to offer. In titanic-like fashion a chunk of ice ripped my exhaust apart this past weekend. Essentially, I had a stock exhaust with an 02 WRX muffler (only because when I had gotten the car, I didn't much like the autozone exhaust that had been hacked on.) It was great until this incident has caused the newer muffler to rip the outlet of the cat up because it was significantly more rusted.

Now I would love to know my best option. I had a damaged cat and an working 02 muffler that I wouldn't mind seeing go either if there was a good option.

unfortunately your cat wont bolt up since it's not N/A. The muffler doesnt typically work either unless you bend the flange, which I have done on the one I have.

so essentially yes, if anyone has a N/A cat i'll take it
