Intake Question
« on: April 22, 2010, 12:18:30 PM »
I'm swapping in a VF39, STI tmic and BCS shortly. I currently have a cobb intake. Would it be worth the money to sway in an APS cai? Would I notice any gains over my current intake? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for the help!

In my opinion, No.  :-)  Save the greenbacks.

I had a noticeable difference when I went to a perrin cai from a short ram. But I don't think it will really make too much of a difference. Also with the cai you have to watch out for puddles and stuff like that because of where it sits, every time I take off my filter to clean it its super dirty, I'm going on my 3rd filter for it this week.

Looks like I'm sticking with the cobb. On to the next question, I'd like to buy an aftermarket turbo inlet pipe, what do you guys recommend? Thanks again!
