Tom M - want to co-drive one of the RHD scoobs? We're picking up two more soon - one of which is the best of the litter, should make it through the event. But no clean title so I'm thinking trailering? Otherwise I'm without a car and only working the event.

If you still wanna go We MAY be able to take my scoob.. LOL.. I'm just going to need some gas moneyz!

Or if you can find a trailer I will gladdy tow one out there.

I need a trailer. But not yet. I'll be going whether I have something to drive or not. But if I knew I was driving, I'd investigate studding some tires.  :-)

Im definitely going and definitely driving. I have some extra wheels and about 50 sets of half used tires. I just have to find some that will fit my extra rims and I will stud them out for this event. I will just need a trailer to pull behind my truck. I am sure I can find one. Pumped for this event.

AMEC is going to be up at Wells this weekend, FYI.

I should say, though, after saying about how rare collisions are we had TWO at the event last weekend thanks to a bunch of :uglystupid2: drivers. Hoping some of them stay home this Sunday...

What sort of studding are you going to do?

I still have no idea. I know my buddy has hundreds of half used tires so it is going to depend on the tread of the tire. He has a studding machine so if I do not need to spend any money except for the studs themselves, which he will get for me on the cheap, I will prob go all out and get some nice big ones just for this race.

I skipped Summit (did a winter track day up in QC), but here are the results:
http://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://www.icerace.com/pdf/amec-2010-results-sl.pdf

Looks like 10 or so SL4 competitors, and there was at least one Audi competing.

This weekend we'll be at Warner's lake, which is close to Albany -- relatively close, anyway. I should be there.
