Car won't start....
« on: February 09, 2010, 05:50:16 PM »
So, I went outside to start up the car, because I haven't driven it in almost a week, and bam....It won't start. Weirdest thing happened to...maybe someone can shed some light on this for me.

I put my key in the ignition and turn it over to start her up...and I get this weird noise it's going at the timing that the starter motor would click at...but it's like a click/zing noise. And at the same rate that the click/zing noise is happening all of the dash lights are tuning on and off. After have the key turned to "ignition" for about 5 or 6 seconds...it made this weird noise that was like a longer click and my mileage on the odometer reset to 0....and my security system armed. When I opened the door to get out the alarm went off. I was like..."WTF?" So, I tried to start it again....samething happened except no alarm the second time.

I can hear the fuel pump running so I don't think it's that. All the lights are coming on so I don't think it's the battery. Any ideas?
