perhaps you misread it. I ran a 12.7 with a f'd up ringland. My car was making 350whp and 450tq on the stock turbo. My first two runs it popped out of first when I was using lc. Thts what killed my engine, smashing off rev limiter under full boost.

I know i misread it.  So what tune were you running?

Hrmmm I almost wonder if that unclogged some gunk somewhere in your fuel system that partially clogged an injector long enough for damage to occur.

How often do you drag?  The 6mt is a pretty stout unit, are failures like this typical?  I don't typically read the impreza subforums on nabisco.

Nah no fuel problem. I beat the ish out of my car, but yet take care of it better than most. My car has seen probably 35-50 passes down the quarter, and over 150 launches. I'm not sure why it popped out of first gear twice, but I can say that etown was my first time back to the track on this setup. That being new act 6puck, lightweight flywheel, Group N diff, engine, tranny, and pitch mouth, and a whole lot MOAR POWA :smitten: It launched fine without LC. If I only would have listened to Junior at the time he told me not to use the launch control. Its all good though, everything happens for a reason. Mine will show up soon enough.

I'm really interested to see what make car is making for power b/c your best time was this past weekend @ 12.79 and my best pass was this weekend @ 12.71 and I didn't even launch my car b/c all I have is a 5 speed and don't want to break it. I know you were having some problems but for the amount of work you have done to your STi and also on the way home when I raced Connor we were pretty much even and someone said he was tuned and running like 23 lbs.

Your car is making over 300whp I'm sure of that. I only got one clean pass and my car was done on that pass. When I my car popped out of 1st I had a 3.2 60' and still trapped just shy of 108mph. My second pass I did the same thing and only trapped 104. My 3rd pass I had a 1.80 60' and only trapped 104. My car was done after the first pass. You'll need a good bit more work to keep up with my car :coolsmiley: If I would have got a clean pass My car would have made an easy 11.9-12.0 pass at 114-115.

^im always down for the valley. I go often during the season. I can only do wednesday night because of my crappy work schedule. That's ok thought because its usually not AS packed and its cheaper IIRC than the weekends. When does the season open?

April 11th I believe. Conor I think your running more like 21psi. That's about what 1.5 bar equals out to. I can't imagine it being any more on just pump gas.
