Did you guys notice how long they go between oil changes? It's pretty common to do them only every 8000-10000 miles for newer cars!

Did you notice it's being sold in the UK?  Assuming he measures distance in kilometers and not miles, the longest it ever went without an oil change is still under 7,000 miles

It is indeed a nice car.  I love the difference in word meanings.  What is a "fold"? Haha

Nope, it's miles. Trust me, I spent the first  25 years of my life in n ireland. S Ireland is kilometers. England Scotland and wales are miles too. My brov also has a tdi peugot. Oil changes every 8-10000 miles. But then they don't have our temp extremes.

Weird.  I was always under the impression it was km around there.  I'd still feel weird going that long without changing my oil, regaurdless of temperatures.

Me too! Oil is cheap, I don't understand it either.

Well, doesn't subaru say:
7,500 miles - "normal" conditions
3,750 miles - "severe" conditions (which the northeast qualifies as).

Possible subaru UK runs synth in their cars from the showroom floor?
