i would invest in some chrome painted turn signal bulbs.  they still light up amber so the :police: wont bother you but they will eliminate the reflection of the amber bulbs. its makes a big difference IMO :mrgreen:
Hate to bump an old thread but I did this a few days ago.  It came out great and I love the look but I'm having a hard time finding an amber 7440.  Where did you (or others) get them?  Thanks.

3/4 down the page, there are several amber models with silver half and full exterior coating, if you're looking for the complete silver look when the bulb isn't on.
